Our Story
2005
The beginning in Uruguay
It all started in Montevideo, when two backpackers opened the first hostel with the idea of creating a space designed for travelers who wanted to explore Latin America their own way.
2010
Expansion into Colombia
After starting in Uruguay, Viajero expanded to the Colombian Caribbean with its first hostels in Cartagena and San Andrés, marking the beginning of its international growth.
2015–2020
The community grows
We create spaces with their own identity and experiences that connect travelers with the culture of each destination.
2025 a Hoy
A purpose-driven chain
30 destinations, 9 countries, and over 600 people making every trip possible!
From Miami to Argentina, we keep growing with one purpose: to create spaces where traveling also means connecting, sharing, and creating stories together.
