Frequently Asked Questions
01
What time are check-in and check-out?
At most of our hostels, check-in is from 3:00 p.m. and check-out is before 11:00 a.m. (please check the schedule for your specific destination). If you arrive earlier or leave later, you can store your luggage—some locations may charge a fee—and enjoy the common areas.
02
What happens if I arrive very late at night?
Most of our receptions operate 24/7, so there will always be someone to welcome you. If you’re arriving late at night, please let us know in advance.
03
How do the cancellation policies work?
They depend on the rate you choose (Flexible or Non-Refundable). Check your confirmation to review the terms, and manage any changes or cancellations through the same channel where you made your booking.
04
Can minors stay at Viajero Hostels?
No. Our hostels are for guests 18+ only, both in private and shared rooms. A valid ID is required at check-in.
05
Are they pet friendly?
Yes, at most of our locations. Pets are only allowed in private rooms for an additional fee. We recommend contacting your destination before booking.
06
Is breakfast included?
It depends on your rate. Some include it and others don’t. If you didn’t add it, you can purchase it directly at the hostel.
07
Is there a guest kitchen?
Most of our hostels have a fully equipped kitchen. Some locations with a restaurant may have restrictions—please check the details for your destination.
08
Are towels included?
Yes, in private rooms.
In shared dorms, you can bring your own or rent one at reception.
09
Can I bring in outside food or alcohol?
Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. You can enjoy our bars with affordable prices. As for food, most locations have a restaurant and, where available, a guest kitchen for preparing your own meals.
10
Do you have good Wi-Fi for working?
We offer free Wi-Fi at all our locations. In urban destinations, the connection is ideal for working; in remote locations, it may be more limited due to local infrastructure.
