3. Accommodation Agreement

3.1 Purpose
VIAJERO HOSTELS will provide the guest with lodging services for the number of nights booked, together with any additional services requested and subject to availability.

3.2 Price and Payments

  • The nightly rate will be the one indicated in the reservation and will include taxes when applicable. Published rates may not include local taxes, government fees, tourism contributions, or other mandatory charges. Such items will be informed and charged in accordance with the law in force in the country and city where the property is located.
  • Prices and charges are made in local currency at check-in or in advance, depending on the selected rate conditions.
  • The moment of collection may vary depending on the booking channel, selected rate, or applicable commercial conditions.
  • The total price shown in dollars or other currencies in the reservation is informative only and may vary according to the exchange rate.
  • The guest must verify the tax conditions applicable to the selected accommodation, since whether taxes are included in the rate may vary by country of operation.
  • Any additional consumption must be paid by the guest at the time it is requested, since such charges will not be applied to accounts or to debit or credit cards. Payments will be made in the local currency of the country where the accommodation is located at check-in.

  • Arrivals after 23:00 must be notified in advance or the reservation may be automatically canceled.

4. Cancellation Policies

Rate Type Conditions
Non-Refundable This rate does not allow cancellations or modifications. In case of cancellation, modification, or no-show, 100% of the total reservation value will be charged. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Flexible This rate allows cancellation or modification without penalty within the deadlines established by each hostel. Cancellations or modifications made outside that period will incur a penalty according to the conditions established by each property. In case of no-show, 100% of the total reservation value will be charged.

5. No-Show Policy
A reservation is considered a no-show when the guest does not appear at the property on the booked arrival date without having notified cancellation in advance through the official channels.

Unlike a cancellation, a no-show does not create any right to a refund or rescheduling, and 100% of the total reservation value will be charged regardless of the contracted rate.

The guest authorizes VIAJERO HOSTELS to make such charge through the registered payment method, guarantee card, or in accordance with the conditions of the booking channel used.

VIAJERO HOSTELS may make advance charges, partial or total, at the time of confirming the reservation or at any time prior to check-in, according to the conditions of the selected rate. The guest authorizes such charge when entering payment details.

7. Upgrades and Pre-Arrival Modifications
VIAJERO HOSTELS may offer the guest, prior to the arrival date, options to improve the reservation (upgrades), including but not limited to room type changes, additional services, or other preferential conditions.

If the guest accepts an upgrade, it will be considered a final modification of the original reservation and will be subject to the conditions of the new selected rate or service.

Once the upgrade has been accepted, it will not be possible to revert the reservation to its original condition or request changes, cancellations, or refunds associated with such modification, except in cases expressly contemplated in the applicable rate.

Acceptance of the upgrade may be made through digital channels, including but not limited to chatbot, email, or messaging platforms, and will have full contractual validity.
