How to get to this hostel in Montevideo?

  • From the Port: You can walk for 10 minutes through the street Pérez Castellano - Sarandí or take a taxi for a quick journey.
  • From the Airport: You can take a taxi, van, or bus at the door of the airport towards Montevideo with a stop at terminal Rio Branco. From here we recommend taking a Taxi. You can also take a bus to Montevideo to get off at Terminal Tres Cruces (check our recommendations on how to get there from this point)
  • From the Terminal Tres Cruces, there are several options:1.) You can take a bus towards "Ciudad Vieja" to Bartolomé Mitre, and from here, walk three blocks to the pedestrian Sarandí. 2.) Take a bus to the citadel gate. From here, walk one block to Bartolomé Mitre. This way takes approximately 50 minutes. 3.) You can also take a taxi with an approximate cost of $250 (between 6 and 7 USD) and lasts about 10-15 minutes. 4.) Or you can walk along the main avenue until you find the "Puerta de la Ciudadela" and continue one more block to Bartolomé Mitre. This road can last up to 50 minutes, so we recommend hydrating.
